Hi all.
I just got back from Texas. I took the train there and back, and I got some awesome videos of the landscape and mountains. I have noticed that for some reason, when I play the videos on my computer, they are not playing normally. When I took the videos, I pointed the lense out the window, making the trees, mountain side, etc. go sideways across the screen, but the computer is displaying the video going upward. Does anyone know why this is happening, and possible fixes? Hopefully, my eyes aren't playing tricks on me. Lol!

When you just have text or other things on your monitor are they like they should be?

I've had this problem with stuff I've shot using my Iphone 3gs, although not with my Iphone 4. Is there a way to rotate the video like you can with a picture? BTW, glad you came to Texas. I hope you enjoyed it.

Yes, the text comes up normally.
I had a great time down there.

Rotate the screen, it should have the rotate option for you on the program you use.

Yes Press the alt key and look under the options for rotating the screen.

I'm assuming you do this in the media player.

No. When you open the pictures or video it is probably Windows photo viewer, or something.
When the video's playing press the Alt or applications key and look in there for zoom and such things.
Adobe has video programs too, so it depends on what you've got, but that is basicly the way ad Butter explained to you.

Ryan, depends on what player you use as to what command keys will get you there. Usually, if you go to menu, and look for view, the rotation option should be somewhare there. Yes, the key is "usually". :)
